The Tudor Heritage Ranger, unveiled at Baselworld, captures the essence of 1960s tool-watch aesthetics — a clean, functional design with 150-meter water resistance that stands out among entry-level mechanical watches this year.
For those who appreciate vintage timepieces from the 1960s and 1970s, this model is a true delight. Faithful to the original 1967 Ranger, it features a 41 mm stainless-steel case, a simple polished bezel, robust curved lugs, and a large screw-down crown. The highlight, however, lies in the dial details — the Arabic numerals and indices are hand-painted with luminous material, rather than printed or applied, giving it a warm, nostalgic glow. The broader hour and minute hands improve legibility, while the reddish-purple seconds hand adds a subtle pop of color.
Powered by the reliable Tudor Caliber T600, the watch offers a 38-hour power reserve and 150-meter water resistance, making it as practical as it is stylish.
Tudor also offers a variety of strap options, including stainless steel, leather, NATO-style nylon, and the particularly striking limited camouflage fabric strap, which pairs perfectly with casual, everyday wear.
