In 2023, Rolex introduced this uniquely creative Day-Date 36 watch with an Emoji-inspired design. It not only features a puzzle-themed enamel dial but is also equipped with specially customized day and date discs. These replace the conventional day names and date numbers with 7 English words and 31 emoji symbols, allowing combinations like “Love,” “Hope,” a “Heart,” or a “Smiley” to appear on the dial each day, offering a delightful surprise.

The 36mm rose gold case continues Rolex’s iconic “Oyster” architecture. The middle case is carved from a single solid block of rose gold, and the fluted bezel creates a three-dimensional play of light. The crown features the Twinlock double waterproofness system, combined with a screw-down case back, ensuring 100 meters of water resistance.

The dial, crafted using the champlevé enamel technique, depicts a puzzle pattern in vibrant red, yellow, green, and purple hues, creating strong visual impact. Hour markers are formed by rectangular-cut sapphires in different colors. The design of the day and date discs is particularly distinctive. The English words and charming emoji symbols offer up to 217 different combinations, adding a unique personality and fun element to time-reading.
