At the 2025 Watches & Wonders Geneva fair, Rolex introduced this gem-dial version of the GMT-Master II, marking the first time an Everose gold case has been paired with a Tiger’s Iron Eye stone dial. Combined with a brown-and-black two-tone 24-hour bezel, the watch presents a luxurious and highly distinctive style.
The Everose gold case maintains the standard 40mm diameter. The brown-and-black two-tone bezel is still crafted from Cerachrom ceramic, with the brown section representing daytime and the black section representing nighttime, echoing the texture and tones of the Tiger’s Iron Eye dial.
The three-hand dial is crafted from a slice of Tiger’s Iron Eye. This unique natural gemstone is composed of three minerals: tiger’s eye, red jasper, and silver hematite, exhibiting a golden-orange iridescent sheen. The natural veining of each stone slab ensures that every watch is unique. The hour and minute hands, the raised hour markers, and the triangular tip of the 24-hour hand are all filled with Chromalight luminescent material. A Cyclops lens at 3 o’clock magnifies the date window for easy reading.
The watch is powered by the Caliber 3285 self-winding movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 70-hour power reserve. This movement is equipped with a Chronergy escapement and a blue Parachrom hairspring, achieving a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day. It also features a practical hack-seconds (stop-seconds) function. It is presented on an Everose gold Oyster bracelet.
