The Cellini collection has always been positioned within Rolex as a “dress watch.” However, the design style in the past was somewhat conservative, making it difficult to pair with various outfits. This year, the collection has undergone a transformation—featuring a “double bezel” visual effect created by the triangular notches on the outer bezel and the curved inner bezel. The slender hour markers and minute scale merge seamlessly, giving the entire watch an Art Deco vibe.
The Cellini Dual Time is the most practical model in the new collection. At the 6 o’clock position, there is a full-function dual time zone subdial displaying both the hour and minute hands, as well as a day/night indicator. This allows the wearer to easily read the time in two time zones. When adjusting the second time zone, only the hour hand needs to be changed, without affecting the regular timekeeping.
TWith a 39mm case, which is the standard size from the 1980s, the watch is available in either 18K white gold or rose gold. It’s worth noting that Rolex is one of the few watch manufacturers that has its own in-house case foundry, ensuring extremely strict control over the casting and polishing processes of the case metal.
Our favorite version is the white gold with a silver dial, which complements the “Rayon Flammé de la Gloire” decorative pattern beautifully.
