The case of this RM 27-05 is merely 7.2mm thick and is crafted from a new carbon composite material – “Carbon TPT® B.4” – which took five years to develop. This high-tech material is 4% denser than standard Carbon TPT®, offers a 15% increase in fiber stiffness, and a 30% improvement in resin strength. Its structure is optimized for anisotropy, achieving incredible toughness while remaining lightweight, providing the strongest impact resistance in the series to date.

The crystal uses an ultra-light PMMA polymer instead of traditional sapphire, contributing to the watch’s total weight of just 11.5 grams (without strap), while also offering higher transparency and anti-reflective performance.

The fully openworked skeleton dial directly reveals a unique geometric mechanical aesthetic. The V-shaped bridge and tourbillon plate create a striking visual impact. The openworked barrel displays the winding status, the winding gear train is at 2 o’clock, and another gear train at 8 o’clock forms a perfectly layered and connected structure.
It is powered by the RM27-05 manual-winding movement, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering a 55-hour power reserve. This skeleton movement combines grade 5 titanium and Carbon TPT®, weighing only 3.79 grams. Notably, the movement is directly fixed within the case by the bezel, without additional screws, pushing the ultra-lightweight concept to its extreme.
It comes on a black fabric strap. It is a limited edition of 80 pieces. The official price is 980,000 CHF.
