To celebrate the 100th anniversary of its first Zulu Time dual-time watch, Longines presents the Spirit Zulu Time 1925, a special 2025 edition that debuts a rose-gold and stainless-steel two-tone design. The warm gold bezel contrasts strikingly with the matte black dial, achieving a look that is both refined and timeless.
The 39mm stainless-steel case, finished with a combination of satin brushing and mirror polishing, accentuates the sharpness of its lines and maintains a comfortable 13.5mm thickness. For the first time, the bidirectional rotating bezel is crafted from 18K rose gold, featuring engraved 24-hour numerals that highlight the precious metal’s natural luster. A screw-down crown ensures 100 meters of water resistance for daily wear.
The matte black dial features applied hour markers and hands edged in rose gold, while the minute track, Longines winged-hourglass logo at 12 o’clock, and other accents are rendered in matching gold tones, evoking a sense of warmth and vintage elegance. The date window at 6 o’clock is discreetly integrated into the dial’s layout, and below it appears a subtle “1925–2025” anniversary inscription.
Powering the watch is the COSC-certified Calibre L844.4 automatic movement, beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour with a 72-hour power reserve. The rotor, finished in rose-gold PVD coating, is laser-engraved with a world map centered on the Prime Meridian, symbolizing global standard time — the origin of “Zulu Time.”
The watch comes fitted with a stainless-steel bracelet and is supplied with an additional black NATO strap.
