The Longines Heritage 1973 is a historical reissue, based on the design of the 1970s Longines Conquest Chronograph. The key difference is the addition of a 12-hour chronograph subdial at 6 o’clock and a date window at 4 o’clock, enhancing the functionality while maintaining the retro design.
It is powered by the ETA L688 movement, which is specifically designed for Longines. The movement uses a column-wheel chronograph mechanism, which is more complex and reliable compared to the common lever-cam structure, providing a smoother operation. This column-wheel chronograph has become a signature feature of Longines chronographs, and you can admire the entire chronograph mechanism in action through the sapphire crystal case back.
The dial is available in either black or silver-white, with the silver version being a nod to the original Conquest model, and it also pairs easily with outfits.
Priced at €2290, this chronograph with a tachymeter scale offers excellent value for money in its category.
