“Dior Dior Dior”
Introduced this pair of earrings from the high jewelry collection, inspired by
gorgeous lace in haute couture.
The designer used round diamonds to outline the
lace
pattern and matched them with
rose cut diamonds,
creating shimmering sequin decorations at the top of the earrings, with the emerald main stones being the most eye-catching focus.
This pair of earrings was created by Dior’s artistic director for Fine Jewelry,
Victoire de Castellane.
The earrings feature
2 slightly tilted emeralds,
which display a rich and bright green color. These two main stones are set in a
four-prong structure,
with white gold prongs cleverly extending into
floral patterns and lace mesh,
visually creating the illusion of the gems delicately resting on lace fabric.
Below the earrings, the
layered lace
alternates between hollow floral patterns and skirt ruffles. The
flowers
feature an asymmetrical design, with a central
drop-shaped blue spinel
representing the stamen, while the hollow petals have been finely polished. The skirt ruffles are made from
small round diamonds,
forming a continuous line with a
semi-bezel setting
that mimics the natural flowing movement of lace.
The most ingenious design element is the “sequins” of lace,
made from crystal
rose cut diamonds,
with diamonds passing through the center and having a hole in the middle, allowing them to “suspend” naturally in the air, echoing the lightness and elegance of lace.
