The main body of the ear ornaments is designed as two unfurling flower buds. The three-dimensional bracts are sculpted from titanium, with naturally curling contours. The titanium metal undergoes anodizing treatment to present a rich gradient of colors including blue, green, yellow, and brown, making the natural hues of the colored gemstones more prominent.

Jewelry Artist Cindy Chao draws from the classic color palette of Pablo Picasso’s painting:
The stamens are two rare brownish-yellow diamonds with a total weight of 32.9 carats, exhibiting a radiant golden-yellow hue.
The bracts are paved with over 3000 emeralds and sapphires of varying sizes, their blue and green tones creating a vivid contrast.
The stems are accented with diamonds, alexandrite, and garnets, their changing colors full of visual tension.
This set specially employs a “double-sided setting” technique, allowing the entire piece to shimmer with captivating gemstone brilliance from every angle, showcasing Cindy Chao’s unique architectural philosophy. Due to the extreme difficulty of setting gemstones onto a titanium surface, a jeweler can set a maximum of only 20 gemstones per day. The creation of the entire piece required over ten thousand hours of workmanship.
