
The artist first sculpted the leaf’s veins and contours using the brand’s signature wax-sculpting technique, then hand-hammered ultra-light titanium to form the base. The most intricate challenge involved setting a total of 375 dazzling Asscher-cut diamonds using the orbital setting technique. The leaf’s edges are pavé-set with vibrant green tsavorites, and the piece is completed with a stem made of natural horn — showcasing exceptional ingenuity in design, craftsmanship, and material selection.
A curled leaf delicately cradles the 3.8-carat pear-shaped emerald, identified as a Colombian-origin emerald of the rare Muzo Green color grade — vivid, intense, and deeply saturated. The entire brooch weighs less than 40 grams, allowing it to rest as lightly and naturally as a real leaf when worn.
