The Fleurs d’Opales—literally meaning “Flowers of Opal” in French—is a stunning new creation from Chopard. At its center lies a 14-carat white opal, radiating luminous blue-green iridescence. Surrounding the opal are titanium filigree petals, whose surfaces have been electroplated to reveal a metallic green sheen that perfectly enhances the gem’s mesmerizing play of color.

Titanium, a silvery-white rare metal, is known for being lightweight yet highly durable, with exceptional resistance to corrosion. It can also be anodized to produce a range of vivid hues—here, Chopard has chosen a natural green tone to evoke the vitality of flora.

The bracelet features a chrysanthemum-inspired design, with delicately curled petals encircling the opal “blossom.” Each petal is pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, while the stem flows seamlessly into the bracelet band, accented with tsavorites, demantoids, and yellow sapphires—creating a rich, harmonious natural palette.

To highlight the chrysanthemum’s lifelike form, the designer incorporated a “Tremblant” mechanism, a traditional jewelry technique in which the petals are mounted on tiny spring settings. This allows each petal to gently quiver with movement, imbuing the piece with a poetic sense of realism—like a flower trembling in the breeze.
