The design of this “Pasha de Cartier” watch draws inspiration from a classic water-resistant timepiece launched by Cartier in 1943. In an inventive move, the watchmakers have transformed the collection’s signature “circle within a square” motif from two dimensions into three, by equipping the dial with a removable “protective grille”.

The 35mm rose gold case features a mirror polish, and the crown is set with a cabochon blue sapphire. The gold grille on the crystal serves to protect it from impacts or scratches and can be removed at any time to change the wearing style.

The elegant silvery-white dial features exquisite hand-guilloché engraving. It proudly displays the enduring classic design codes of the Pasha collection: Art Deco-style Arabic numerals with refined serifs are complemented by blued steel ‘sword’ or ‘feuille’ (leaf) hands. A distinctive square railroad minute track sits inside the hour markers, adding a striking layer of visual depth and sophistication.

It is powered by the 1847 MC self-winding movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 42-hour power reserve.

It comes on a red alligator leather strap. The official price is 17,250 Euros.
