The flamingo is one of the iconic motifs in Cartier’s animal kingdom. The most legendary piece remains the flamingo brooch created in 1940 for the Duchess of Windsor—masterfully capturing the elegant posture of a flamingo with its neck curved, adorned with rubies, sapphires, and emeralds, making it one of the most celebrated jewelry designs of the 20th century.
This season’s flamingo-themed high jewelry necklace required over 1,000 hours of craftsmanship. Designers boldly refined the geometric lines of the flamingo’s form, constructing a lavish and intricate vision through a blend of arcs and straight lines—the flamingo’s figure is outlined with diamonds, its eye set with a vivid yellow diamond, and its rose gold beak meticulously polished to radiate brilliance. The diamond-set feather lines resemble blooming floral clusters, while the natural emerald crystal columns descend in perfect parallel gradation, symbolizing the order and eternal power of nature.

Suspended from the base of the necklace is a 38.50ct emerald-cut aquamarine, clear and serene as the ocean. This centerpiece stone, with its exceptional clarity and rich color, serves as the focal point of the entire creation.
