As Cartier’s first foray into professional-grade diving watches, the Calibre de Cartier Diver builds upon the design language of the 2010 Calibre de Cartier, combining traditional aesthetics with functional performance and an impressive 300-meter water resistance.

To meet the stringent requirements of a true diver’s watch, subtle yet practical refinements were made to the original design. The oversized Roman numeral at 12 o’clock, along with the hour, minute, and seconds hands, are all coated with Super-LumiNova for exceptional legibility in dark underwater environments. The unidirectional rotating bezel, featuring 120 fine notches, allows for precise half-minute adjustments and incorporates a second time zone scale for added versatility.

Despite its robust diving capabilities, the Calibre de Cartier Diver remains remarkably slim at just 11mm thick. The reinforced sapphire crystal, oversized gaskets, and screw-down crown and caseback ensure durability and pressure resistance, while the refined design maintains Cartier’s signature elegance — making it as suitable for daily wear as it is for deep-sea exploration.
