The 40mm stainless steel case continues the iconic Octo Finissimo octagonal design, with a thickness of just 6.4mm. Different facets of the case alternate between satin-brushed and mirror-polished finishes, highlighting the bright metal luster. The screw-down crown is set with ceramic and offers 100 meters of water resistance, sufficient for daily use.

The silver-toned dial features an off-center small seconds layout. The hands are treated with a black PVD coating and satin finish to enhance legibility. The lacquered sketch of the BVL 138 movement perfectly reproduces the variations in pressure and thickness of the hand-drawn strokes, with each line encapsulating the designer’s ingenuity, creating a subtle emotional connection between the wearer and the designer. You can observe movement detail elements like the off-center rotor at 3 o’clock, the balance wheel at 8 o’clock, ruby bearings, and Côtes de Genève.
Turning the watch over reveals the actual BVL 138 ultra-thin movement—where the rotor, balance wheel, screws, bearings, gears, and even the Geneva stripes on the bridges transform from sketched lines into tangible reality. This movement is merely 2.23mm thick and provides a 60-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal case back is printed with the handwritten “1884-2024” anniversary designation and the limited edition number.
It comes on a stainless steel bracelet. It is a limited edition of 280 pieces. The official price is 17,800 Euros.
