The 41mm case is constructed using dual materials—the circular bezel, case back, and openworked lugs are made of 18K white gold, while the octagonal middle case is cut from black ceramic. This design not only highlights the unique architecture of the Code 11.59 case but also creates a visually slimmer profile for the watch. The blue aventurine dial provides a perfect backdrop for the black minute and seconds tracks on its periphery.
The most striking feature is undoubtedly the “Starwheel” time display module:
-
Three black rotating discs, each bearing four hour numerals.
-
The current time is read by the numeral aligned with the fan-shaped minute track at the top of the dial.
-
For example, the time shown in the accompanying image is 10:21.
Additionally, this is the first Audemars Piguet “Starwheel” model to incorporate a central seconds hand.

Powering the watch is the Calibre 4310 self-winding movement. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 70-hour power reserve. Comprising 224 components, the movement’s reverse side reveals exquisite hand-finishing, including Côtes de Genève (Geneva stripes), circular graining, brushing, polishing, and bevelling, providing outstanding visual appeal.
Paired with a black rubber strap, the watch has an official price of €51,500.
