At this year’s Baselworld, Arnold & Son unveiled a masterpiece dedicated to precision chronometry — the Royal Constant Force Tourbillon, a timepiece that combines a tourbillon, a constant-force mechanism, and for the first time, a true-beat (deadbeat) seconds display. It is a remarkable demonstration of the brand’s technical prowess in movement innovation.
The fully skeletonized dial offers a clear view of the movement’s intricate architecture: the two barrels occupy the upper half, the one-minute tourbillon is positioned at 4 o’clock, and the true-beat seconds mechanism sits at 8 o’clock. The perfectly symmetrical layout of the movement defines the distinctive aesthetic of the dial.
Powered by the hand-wound Caliber A&S5119, the watch is equipped with an oversized crown for convenient winding. Once fully wound, it provides an impressive 90-hour power reserve — an outstanding performance for a watch featuring both a tourbillon and a constant-force system.
The Royal Constant Force Tourbillon is limited to 28 pieces, with an official retail price of ≈  160,000 €.
