This marks the first update to the Grand Lange 1’s case specifications in a decade. The case diameter remains at 41mm, but the 0.6mm reduction in thickness achieves a more compact and elegant proportion. The pink gold case combines brushed and mirror-polished surfaces. A corrector button at 10 o’clock on the case band allows for quick adjustment of the date.
The dark gray dial continues the classic asymmetric layout of the Lange 1 family:
-
An off-center hours and minutes sub-dial at 9 o’clock.
-
The iconic outsize date aperture at 1 o’clock.
-
A power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock.
-
A small seconds sub-dial at 5 o’clock.
The hands, hour markers, and date window frame are crafted from 18K gold. The dial’s standout feature is its granular finish, which presents a sandblasted-like texture. The two sub-dials are adorned with concentric guilloché, retaining their distinctive recessed edges for a three-dimensional effect.

Powering the watch is the L095.1 manual-winding movement. It operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a 72-hour power reserve. Comprising 397 components, this movement features a mainplate decorated with Glashütte ribbing and a balance cock adorned with hand-engraving. The ruby bearings, gold chatons, and blued steel screws create a beautiful contrast.
Paired with a hand-stitched leather strap, the watch has an official price of €43,500.
