At the 2024 Watches & Wonders Geneva exhibition, A. Lange & Söhne unveiled the Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold Lumen, a masterpiece created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Datograph collection. For the first time, the model features the brand’s proprietary Honeygold case combined with white luminous sub-dials, resulting in a strikingly elegant “reverse panda” design highly sought after by collectors.
The 41.5 mm Honeygold case is vertically brushed on the sides and polished on the lugs and bezel. The chronograph pushers sit on the right, while a quick-adjust pusher for the perpetual calendar is positioned at 10 o’clock, ensuring easy and intuitive operation.
The grey-tinted transparent sapphire dial allows a direct view of the intricate inner workings of the movement. The large date display occupies the 12 o’clock position, while the month and leap-year indications are integrated within the 3 o’clock chronograph sub-dial. The moon-phase display appears at 6 o’clock, and the 9 o’clock sub-dial combines the small-seconds, day-of-week, and day/night indications. All hands, hour markers, and sub-dials are coated with Lumen luminescent material, glowing a vivid green in the dark.

Inside beats the hand-wound calibre L952.4, composed of 684 parts, oscillating at 18,000 vph with a 50-hour power reserve. The tourbillon mechanism is elegantly concealed on the movement’s reverse side, visible through the sapphire caseback.
Paired with a brown alligator leather strap, the watch is limited to 50 pieces.
