The 42.5 mm stainless steel case offers 120 meters of water resistance, suitable for everyday wear. Ingeniously, A. Lange & Söhne integrated the chronograph pushers into the day and date corrector buttons located on either side of the crown:
-
With the crown pushed in, the buttons operate the chronograph (start, stop, reset).
-
With the crown pulled out, they function as quick correctors for the day and date displays.

Despite the addition of a completely new chronograph complication, the dial layout remains faithful to the original Odysseus, featuring the signature large date at 3 o’clock, day window at 9 o’clock, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. The black dial features a granular frosted center, while the chapter ring and seconds track are decorated with concentric circular graining, lending a refined sense of depth and texture.

In place of traditional subdials, the chronograph readings are indicated by two central hands: a silvered chronograph minute hand and a red chronograph seconds hand, making elapsed time easily legible on the wide, uncluttered dial. A dedicated chronograph scale has been added along the outer edge of the seconds track.
The proprietary dynamic reset mechanism functions as follows:
When the chronograph is reset, if the elapsed time is less than 30 minutes, the minute hand jumps counterclockwise back to zero, and the seconds hand rotates counterclockwise through N full revolutions (equal to the number of elapsed minutes) to return to zero. If the elapsed time is more than 30 minutes, the system instead drives both hands clockwise—the minute hand jumps forward to zero while the seconds hand makes (60 – N) quick clockwise rotations to return to its starting point.

Inside is the newly developed L156.1 Datomatic caliber, A. Lange & Söhne’s first automatic chronograph movement, beating at 28,800 vph with a 50-hour power reserve. The balance bridge is decorated with a hand-engraved wave motif, symbolizing the watch’s enhanced water resistance.
The watch is paired with a stainless steel bracelet and produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
