The new RICHARD MILLE RM 33-03 continues the legacy of the classic RM 33 ultra-thin round case, with a notable addition: for the first time, a small seconds subdial has been added at the 6 o’clock position. This timepiece is powered by the new RMXP3 automatic skeletonized movement, and it offers two case material options: titanium and Carbon TPT®.
The case measures 41.7mm in diameter and is just 9.7mm thick. The ergonomic design of the case back allows it to fit closely to the wrist, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience. The titanium version features a middle case, bezel, and lugs made of grade 5 titanium, treated with brushing, satin finishing, and polishing to highlight its bold metallic texture. The Carbon TPT® version features a Carbon TPT® main case combined with a rose gold middle case, creating a perfect blend of the unique pattern of carbon fiber and the luxurious sheen of rose gold.
The skeletonized titanium dial showcases the movement’s layout and operation. At 1 o’clock, you can directly observe the winding condition of the mainspring barrel, while the date window is at 4 o’clock, and the small seconds subdial is positioned at 6 o’clock. The 3, 9, and 12 o’clock positions feature raised, integrated Arabic numerals, paired with rose gold skeletonized hour and minute hands, creating a rich visual layering effect. The hands, hour markers, and minute track are coated with luminescent material to enhance legibility.
The RM 33-03 is powered by the new RMXP3 automatic skeletonized movement with a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 40 hours. The ultra-thin movement has a thickness of just 3.28mm, with a baseplate made of grade 5 titanium and bridges treated with black PVD coating, along with fine finishing techniques like sandblasting, satin-brushing, and beveling. The eccentric micro-rotor is made of platinum.
