RICHARD MILLE RM 50-02 ACJ Split-Seconds Tourbillon Chronograph

The RICHARD MILLE RM 50-02 ACJ Split-Seconds Tourbillon Chronograph is a masterpiece of haute horlogerie introduced at SIHH 2016. Designed in collaboration with Airbus Corporate Jets, this watch is crafted specifically for aviation enthusiasts and private jet owners. Its unique combination of a split-seconds chronograph and tourbillon complication positions it as one of the brand’s most technically sophisticated timepieces.

Aviation-Inspired Design

RICHARD MILLE RM 50-02 ACJ Dial Close-up

The titanium case features a distinctive white ceramic bezel inspired by aircraft portholes, while surrounding screws are modeled after Airbus Corporate Jets’ fasteners. The side pushers mimic aircraft mechanical components, reinforcing the aviation theme. The dial displays white-backed hour and minute hands, dual central chronograph seconds, and multiple subdials, including power reserve at 2 o’clock, tourbillon and small seconds at 6 o’clock, and two chronograph counters at 9 and 11 o’clock.

Movement and Technical Excellence

RICHARD MILLE RM 50-02 ACJ Movement

The sapphire crystal caseback reveals the meticulously hand-finished RM 50-02 ACJ movement. Constructed primarily from titanium, it ensures lightweight comfort while maintaining structural integrity. The manual-winding movement features 37 jewels, operates at 21,600 vph, and offers a 70-hour power reserve, exemplifying RICHARD MILLE’s focus on high-performance mechanics.

Case, Strap, and Exclusivity

Measuring 50.10 x 42.70 mm with a thickness of 16.50 mm, the titanium-aluminum alloy case is both robust and lightweight. The rubber strap ensures a secure fit for active wearers. This model is extremely exclusive, limited to 30 pieces worldwide. While the Airbus Corporate Jets “ACJ319” costs approximately USD 80 million, the RM 50-02 ACJ is priced at €966,000, offering collectors a tangible piece of aviation luxury on the wrist.
