The 41.9mm case is crafted from the proprietary Honeygold alloy. This alloy contains elements like copper and zinc and undergoes a heat treatment process, achieving a Vickers hardness of over 300 HVI – more than 30% harder than standard 18-carat gold. This results in a material that is not only hard-wearing but also possesses a warm, soft golden hue.
A new “Hour-Correcting” button has been added on the left side of the case (at 4 o’clock), allowing for quick adjustment of the hour digit, ideal for changing time zones during international travel.

The dial continues the Zeitwerk family’s iconic symmetrical layout. The central curved bridge is made of German silver, while the two large jumping numeral discs on the left and right give the dial its characteristic “Owl” appearance. The up/down power reserve indicator is at 12 o’clock, and the small seconds dial is at 6 o’clock. The dark sapphire crystal dial offers a view of the movement’s operation underneath. The luminous numerals glow with a green light in the dark, adding a touch of intrigue.

The upgraded Caliber L043.9 manual-winding movement now comprises 462 parts. It features a patented constant-force escapement, operates at 18,000 vph, and its power reserve has been doubled to 72 hours.
Through the sapphire crystal caseback, one can admire the movement’s exquisite finishing – including ribbing, sunburst, perlée, straight graining, circular graining, mirror polishing, and bevelling. This wealth of detail upholds A. Lange & Söhne’s meticulous standards. The balance cock and the escape wheel cock are both adorned with hand-engraved patterns.
It comes on a dark brown leather strap. It is a limited edition of 200 pieces. The official price is €114,000.
