Presented as part of Tiffany & Co.’s 2022 Blue Book High Jewelry Collection, this Double Wing Black Pearl Brooch reinterprets Jean Schlumberger’s iconic “Double Wing” design. The new creation replaces the original blue enamel wings with radiant gold tones, while the white pearl is transformed into a South Sea black pearl, lending the piece a darker, more dramatic allure.

Jean Schlumberger’s abstract artistry vividly captures the motion of a bird in flight—its platinum arched structure gives the wings a sculptural presence, while the elongated feathers in gold add depth and dynamism. The rose gold–enamel detailing accentuates select plumes, and together with diamonds, gold, and enamel, creates a mesmerizing interplay of light, texture, and color.

Suspended at the base is a South Sea black pearl, whose natural overtones reveal shifting hues of green, brown, and silver under changing light. The pearl’s movable setting allows it to sway gently with the wearer’s motion, bringing the brooch to life with graceful fluidity.
