The case diameter of the new Explorer II remains at 42mm. The brushed stainless steel bezel is integrated with the case material, presenting a pure visual texture. The crown features a double waterproofness system, providing 100 meters of water resistance, sufficient for field needs.

The pure white dial is reminiscent of polar glaciers, echoing the “exploration” theme of the Explorer collection. The orange GMT hand is particularly eye-catching – this watch was originally designed for glacier cave exploration, and the GMT hand can also serve as a day/night indicator for explorers in dark caves.
The hands and hour markers are coated with black PVD to enhance contrast. The Chromalight luminescent coating emits a blue glow in the dark. The date window at 3 o’clock features a Cyclops lens. The 2021 new version adds a Rolex crown logo between “SWISS MADE” at 6 o’clock as a distinguishing feature.

It is powered by the Caliber 3285 self-winding movement, incorporating the latest movement technologies such as the Chronergy escapement, blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers. It offers excellent anti-magnetic and anti-shock performance, with a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day. The power reserve has been significantly extended from 48 hours to 70 hours, representing the most significant improvement in the new model.
It comes with a three-piece link Oyster bracelet. The EasyLink comfort extension link allows the wearer to easily extend the bracelet by approximately 5mm. The official price is €8,300.
