MB&F LM Flying T Diamond Tourbillon Watch Overview
The MB&F LM Flying T Diamond Tourbillon Watch debuted at Baselworld 2019 as the brand’s first dedicated ladies’ timepiece. Its design blends sculptural aesthetics, a hemispherical sapphire dome, and an elevated three-dimensional dial, complemented by extensive diamond settings. The watch symbolizes resilience, creative energy, and the enduring spirit of modern women.
Case Design and Sapphire Architecture
The round case of the Legacy Machine series was redesigned and reduced to 38.5 mm, with slimmer and elongated lugs for a refined feminine silhouette. Crafted in white gold, the case holds 120 diamonds, while the two crowns contain an additional 26 diamonds. A black-lacquered central dial enhances the brilliance of the stones.
The sapphire dome rises to 20 mm, forming a striking architectural profile characteristic of MB&F’s mechanical sculptures. Positioned at 7 o’clock, the tilted hour-and-minute subdial sits at a 50° angle, intentionally visible only to the wearer for a more intimate reading of time. A diamond sits atop the central tourbillon carriage, shimmering as the mechanism rotates.
Movement and Mechanical Artistry
Inside the watch is MB&F’s in-house three-dimensional automatic movement operating at 18,000 vph. It delivers an impressive 100-hour power reserve, the longest in any MB&F creation. Through the sapphire caseback, the rose-gold sun-shaped rotor symbolizes vitality and creative energy.
Strap, Price, and Technical Details
Paired with a black alligator strap, the MB&F LM Flying T Diamond Tourbillon Watch features a white-gold diamond buckle and offers 30 m of water resistance. The official retail price is 108,000 Swiss francs.
