Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine Diamond Watch

The Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine is a poetic expression of luxury watchmaking, combining Hermès’ equestrian heritage with fine jewelry craftsmanship and celestial design inspiration. This limited edition ladies’ timepiece was unveiled at Baselworld 2015 and quickly became one of the most enchanting creations in the modern Hermès watch collection.

Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine aventurine dial close-up

The main highlight of the Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine is its deep blue aventurine stone dial. Made from a natural mineral material, aventurine contains tiny metallic inclusions that create sparkling reflections, evoking the mesmerizing beauty of a star-filled night sky. Under different lighting conditions, the dial shifts between deep midnight blue and luminous cosmic shimmer, giving the watch a captivating and ever-changing personality.

The elegant Arceau case, originally designed by Henri d’Origny in 1978, is one of Hermès’ most iconic case shapes. On this Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine model, the asymmetrical stirrup-shaped lugs reflect the brand’s equestrian DNA — a signature feature that distinguishes it from conventional round cases.

The white gold case measuring 34 mm is fully embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds along both the bezel and the l-shaped lugs. These diamond settings enhance the sculptural form of the case while maintaining an elegant restraint, perfectly balanced for a refined women’s luxury timepiece.

Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine diamonds and small seconds subdial

The display layout of the Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine uses a classic small seconds three-hand configuration, with the small seconds positioned at 6 o’clock. The subdial is framed by a delicate ring of diamonds, adding another layer of refinement, while the signature “galloping” Hermès Arabic numerals add playful asymmetry to the dial design.

Powering the watch is the in-house H1912 automatic movement, developed exclusively for Hermès. This movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a power reserve of 50 hours, offering both reliability and elegance for daily wear.

The Hermès Arceau Ecuyère Aventurine is produced in an extremely limited run of only 178 pieces worldwide. This exclusivity, combined with its rare aventurine dial and diamond settings, makes it highly desirable among collectors of luxury women’s watches and Hermès enthusiasts.

In the world of high jewelry watches, this piece stands alongside creations from
Bulgari and
Van Cleef & Arpels, while maintaining Hermès’ poetic design language and understated elegance.
