Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton Power Reserve Titanium Watch

Bulgari introduced the Octo Finissimo Skeleton Power Reserve at Baselworld 2018, enhancing its ultra-thin Octo platform with a fully openworked titanium architecture. The watch maintains a lightweight construction under 60 g while keeping the Octo collection’s signature geometric styling.
The 40 mm titanium case measures only 5.35 mm thick. The stepped bezel, angular lugs, and octagonal layout create a strong architectural identity. Because the case shape approaches a square form, the watch wears slightly larger than its size suggests, offering both lightness and wrist presence.

The skeletonized dial reveals brushed and polished bridges, carefully designed to show the mechanics without compromising readability. Blue hands and markers define the overall color theme, providing contrast against the titanium components.

At 1 o’clock sits the mainspring barrel, displaying spring tension directly. The gear train appears at 3 o’clock, while the balance wheel with ruby bearings operates at 4 o’clock. The 7 o’clock position houses the small seconds, and the 9 o’clock position features the power reserve indicator.
Equipped with the in-house BVL 128SK manual-winding movement, this caliber is only 2.35 mm thick yet offers a 65-hour power reserve—impressive performance for an ultra-thin mechanical movement.

The Octo line traces its heritage to Gerald Genta’s 1972 design, and this model continues Bulgari’s pursuit of extreme thinness and technical refinement. With its titanium case, long power reserve, skeletonized structure, and high-performance movement, the watch offers a compelling combination of engineering and aesthetics.
