The Omega Seamaster Bullhead Rio 2016 Limited Chronograph is Omega’s first Olympic-themed Bullhead watch, released to celebrate the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games. Limited to just 316 pieces, it combines the iconic Bullhead design with a sporty blue dial accented by yellow, green, red, and black bezel markings to represent the Olympic rings.
Distinctive Bullhead Design
Dating back to 1969, the Bullhead design features chronograph pushers and crown at 12 o’clock, with a rotating Arabic numeral inner bezel controlled by the 6 o’clock knob, allowing precise lap timing. The Rio 2016 edition maintains these unique characteristics while showcasing Olympic branding on the case back.
Movement & Technical Specifications
Powered by the Co-Axial Calibre 3113 with a 52-hour power reserve, the watch ensures reliable precision for collectors. The 43 mm stainless steel case is paired with a leather strap featuring the Olympic colors for added thematic detail. The Bullhead remains one of Omega’s most recognizable chronographs, especially in this limited edition release.
