Tudor Black Bay Bronze Watch

Tudor introduced this new Black Bay Bronze edition at Baselworld 2019. The bronze case is paired with a new slate-gray dial featuring a subtle gradient effect that adds depth to the design. It remains one of the most captivating bronze Black Bay models to date, especially for collectors who favor vintage-inspired diving watches.

The 43 mm bronze case receives a satin-brushed finish. As a diving watch, it offers 200-meter water resistance, supported by an aluminum-bronze alloy that provides strong corrosion resistance in marine environments. Over time, the oxidized alloy will develop a warm brown-gold patina, reflecting the wearer’s habits and emphasizing the watch’s characterful, aged appearance.

The unidirectional rotating bezel features an aluminum insert with gold-plated numerals and markings, along with fine knurled edges. The saw-tooth design improves grip even when wearing gloves. The oversized screw-down crown is embellished with Tudor’s rose emblem, staying true to the brand’s heritage.

Under different lighting, the slate-gray dial reveals a rich gradient—lighter at the center and nearly black toward the outer edge. Gold-plated hands, markers, and minute track add warmth while maintaining balance with the bronze case. The three-hand layout ensures excellent legibility, and the hour and seconds hands feature Tudor’s iconic square snowflake design. Arabic numerals mark the 3-6-9 positions, reinforcing its functional aesthetic.

Inside the case is the MT5601 self-winding movement, running at 28,800 vph with a 70-hour power reserve. The movement is COSC-certified and engineered for durability, ensuring stable performance suitable for both daily wear and adventure. The woven fabric strap is presented in dark gray with a yellow center stripe, harmonizing perfectly with the case and dial tones while keeping the watch lightweight and comfortable.
