The OMEGA Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award 50th Anniversary is one of OMEGA’s most remarkable chronographs, celebrating the iconic Apollo 13 mission. Its innovative animated case back shows Earth rotation and Snoopy traveling on the lunar module, honoring the 14-second orbit correction that saved the Apollo 13 crew.
The Silver Snoopy Award Medal was created in 1968 by Charles M. Schulz and is awarded to individuals or teams who significantly contribute to U.S. human spaceflight. OMEGA earned this award for its role in six Moon landings and the critical support during Apollo 13.

The 50th Anniversary edition features a dark blue panda dial. The silver dial is laser-engraved with subdials, including the 9 o’clock Snoopy figure in a spacesuit, faithfully reproducing the NASA Silver Snoopy Medal. The dial is slightly tilted for a three-dimensional effect. The 30-minute counter sits at 3 o’clock, the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock.

The sapphire crystal case back highlights a detailed Moon close-up, with Earth rotating once every 60 seconds. Activating the chronograph animates Snoopy aboard the Apollo 13 lunar module, orbiting the Moon in sync with the seconds hand.

Housed in a 42 mm stainless steel case, the watch features the OMEGA Calibre 3861 Master Chronometer manual-winding movement with coaxial escapement and silicon balance wheel, offering a 50-hour power reserve. The blue nylon strap completes the Apollo 13 tribute.
