BVLGARI LVCEA Tubogas Halo Watch Overview

The BVLGARI LVCEA Tubogas Halo Watch, first unveiled at Baselworld 2018, represents a sophisticated fusion of classical Italian jewelry aesthetics and the brand’s historic Tubogas craftsmanship. The collection’s name originates from the Latin word “Lux,” meaning light, and this new interpretation extends the brand’s luminous design philosophy through the iconic Tubogas bracelet. This is the first time the LVCEA collection integrates the Tubogas construction, bringing the watch’s signature halo effect beyond the case and into the fluid metallic bracelet.

Design Evolution and Tubogas Craftsmanship

BVLGARI has used the Tubogas technique since the 1940s. Originally inspired by industrial metal tubing, the design evolved into a highly artistic form of goldsmithing that requires no soldering. The bracelet’s tightly wrapped, coiling structure is created using a concealed steel core that provides flexibility, comfort, and excellent durability. The combination of stainless steel and rose gold enhances the bracelet’s visual rhythm, allowing the polished surfaces to create a continuous reflective flow around the wrist.

To reinforce the feminine character of the LVCEA family, the dial options include black lacquer or white mother-of-pearl, each set with bright round diamond hour markers housed within precise square settings. The crown, a signature design element of BVLGARI watches, features a pink tourmaline cabochon.

Case Sizes, Movements, and Technical Features

The BVLGARI LVCEA Tubogas Halo Watch is offered in both 28 mm and 33 mm case sizes.
The 28 mm model features a minimalist two-hand layout powered by the BVLGARI Calibre B046 quartz movement, designed for reliability and low maintenance.

The 33 mm version is equipped with the Calibre B77 automatic movement, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of 42 hours. A date display appears at the 3 o’clock position, adding everyday practicality. Both versions deliver a water resistance of 50 meters, making them suitable for daily wear while maintaining their jewelry-like elegance.
