Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer Overview
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of its Aqua Terra collection, Omega has unveiled the Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer, a platinum world time watch that combines technical precision with artistic craftsmanship. The central dial showcases a hand-enameled map of the Northern Hemisphere, enhanced by a newly designed 24-hour scale and city name rings for ultimate readability.

Dial Design and World Time Functionality
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer features a 43 mm platinum case with a subtle frosted platinum dial. Its multi-circle scale layout includes two outer rings with 24 city names representing the world’s time zones, while the innermost ring displays a 24-hour scale with contrasting dark blue and white to indicate night and day. The hand-enameled Northern Hemisphere map combines blue, green, yellow, and white enamel, giving the watch a vibrant yet sophisticated appearance. Arrow-shaped hands and three-dimensional wedge-shaped hour markers enhance legibility and visual depth.

Technical Specifications and Movement
Powered by the Omega Calibre 8939 self-winding movement, the Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer is certified by METAS to resist magnetic fields up to 15,000 Gauss. Operating at 25,200 vph and offering a 60-hour power reserve, the movement features rose gold bridges and a rotor visible through the sapphire crystal case back, specifically designed for this limited edition. The watch is water-resistant up to 150 meters and paired with a brown alligator leather strap secured by a platinum clasp.

City Names and Unique Features
The 24 city names on the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Worldtimer Master Chronometer are color-coded for clarity: London in red marks the zero time zone, daylight saving time zones are black, and other zones are blue. Notably, the GMT+1 time zone uses Bern (Bienne) to represent Omega’s headquarters, instead of the usual Paris or Geneva. Each watch is part of a limited edition of 87 pieces, priced at USD 48,600.
